Faith Over Fear: Journey Into The Unknown [Excerpt]

The start of my beginning went a little bit like this :  “I am writing to announce my resignation, effective 2 weeks from today”  Yes, I officially quit my “job”.  The “job” that no longer fulfilled me and was no longer apart of the bigger dream I not only had for myself but my family.  Questions people asked “Do you have something lined up?”  “Do you have another job?”  “What are you going to do for money?”  “How will you eat?”.  My responses general response to people is “but God”.  Most probably won’t understand what that means, but if you do, you’re probably shouting right now.  I always said “faith and fear cannot exist in the same space” and this day, I decided to act on that belief.

This is not the traditional story of an average girl at a normal job.  I was the girl working at one of the top luxury fashion brands in the world, working face to face with A-listers and tastemakers around the globe, working on some of the worlds most notable creative initiatives.  Why leave?  My dream was much bigger….
